LeadTime – 2009 Internship/Discipleship Program

Our primary responsibility is going to be working with the Shelterwood program, also a part of Doulos Ministries. Here is how Doulos explains Shelterwood: Shelterwood is a licensed Christian residential teen treatment program. Our ministry is dedicated to family counseling and restoration of relationships in a Christ-centered environment. We treat troubled adolescents that may be spiraling out of control and showing signs of:
Teen depression and anger Teen abuse, defiance, or anxiety Teen academic challenges	Teen low motivation or manipulation Teen substance abuse, addictions, or rebellious attitude
The very brief background of how we ended up going to Branson looks like this: One day while I was at work Greg, one of the Directors at LeadTime called me and asked if I would be interested in being a part of LeadTime. At first I was going to decline, but I felt like God was telling me that I need to listen to him. After talking to my wife, we decided that this, was in fact Gods will for us. Since Branson, MO is a little over 10 hrs away from South Bend, IN we needed a good way to communicate with friends and family.
