OHOP Forerunner School of Ministry – 2010 Internship

This page explains what the OHOP (Orlando House of Prayer) Forerunner School of Ministry is.  It also explains what our purpose is in coming to Orlando, what we will be doing as a family here, and other interesting, relevant information.  The Forerunner School of Ministry as well as the Internship is a Ministry of the Orlando House of Prayer.
The Orlando Forerunner School of Ministry is a full time & part time Bible School / Internship program committed to raising up forerunners to shape the current culture.

The Forerunner School of Ministry is Composed of two things:

1. Intro to OHOP is a concentrated 4-month internship designed to impart the vision, values, and understanding of the basic structure of OHOP, along with the practical skills necessary to succeed long-term as an intercessory missionary.  Whether studying one of the OHOP core classes, sitting at the feet of Jesus in intimacy, crying out in intercession for the Kingdom of God to be established on earth, or engaging in works of justice, our goal is to equip the Body of Christ.

Intro to OHOP is more specifically designed for those who are called to a lifestyle of prayer and ministry or want to prepare to join the OHOP staff.

2. Captivated! is a part-time internship program for young adults interested in pursuing the Lord in one of the following tracks: Intimacy, End Times, or Justice.  Each track includes an evening class, prayer room hours, fellowship and outreach based on the area of study selected.

Captivated! is more specifically designed for those who are earnestly pursuing to grow in the knowledge of God within a particular area of passion.
Full-Time

  • Participate in 20 Sacred Trusted hrs either on a set or in the Prayer Room
  • Participate in 20 hours of service/administration, attendance of the staff prayer sets in the Prayer Room
  • Attendance of 6 of the 6 Global Bridegroom Fast watches
  • Attendance of Monthly Mission Base Meetings
  • Attendance of Sunday morning Services at OHOP
  • Attendance of Awaken The Bride (Once a Month)
  • Attendance of the Bound4LIFE siege (Once a Month)
  • Completion of the OHOP core value courses
 Part-Time

  • Participate in 10 Sacred Trusted hrs either on a set or in the Prayer Room
  • Participate in 10 hours of service/administration, and attendance of the staff prayer sets in the Prayer Room
  • Attendance of 3 of the 6 Global Bridegroom Fast watches
  • Attendance of Monthly Mission Base Meetings
  • Attendance of Sunday morning Services at OHOP
  • Attendance of Awaken The Bride (Once a Month)
  • Attendance of the Bound4LIFE siege (Once a Month)
  • Completion of the OHOP core value courses
The process for us learning about OHOP, the internship, realizing it was God’s desire for us to go there, and actually moving to Orlando was a long process.  The story can’t even begin to be told here, so I have written a five part series on the process, which you can read here.
